Last night, 9th November 2011, as a result of dedicated team work with Marks & Spencer, Helistrat Management Services won the PFM ‘Partners in Corporate Social Responsibility’ Award. This award focuses upon and recognises partnerships in which the FM partners play a significant role in directing and meeting the objectives of the client’s environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility strategies.
The PFM Awards dinner, held at the Brewery in London, was hosted by TV sports presenter, Chris Hollins, and was attended by 550 people from the facilities management sector. Now in their 18th year, the PFM Awards are recognised as the premier accolade for best practice at working in partnership to deliver facilities and support services across a broad spectrum of organisations in the private and public sectors.
It was commented by the Judges that the partnership between Helistrat and M&S ‘was evidently a strong partnership with obvious and effective engagement at senior levels in both organisations. The processes are embedded and effective and this provides a basis for an excellent level of collaboration that consequently delivers for the partnership. The extremely impressive recycling and waste reduction results clearly demonstrate this partnership works and works well’.
Helistrat are extremely proud to have accepted this outstanding achievement and continue to strive to innovate recycling methods and waste processes for their clients.
